Reception for The Hot Air Quarterly’s Summer Issue

Please join us this Saturday, August 28, for a reception for the summer issue of The Hot Air Quarterly, featuring the work of American artist Joe Draegert on the cover. Inside, as mentioned in a previous post, you’ll find the work of Clark Beek, Peter Wright, Bill Siemer, Larry Greco Harris, Wistar Watts Murray, Roberta Stone, Michaela Carlock, Kay S. Lindsey, and yours truly. It will take place at Pacific West Graphics, which is at the corner of South and California, from 7 – 9 PM. Free copies of the magazine will be available and after-dinner refreshments provided (wine, cheese, fruit, and sweets). Peter Wright, Jim Dowling, Sharon Brisolara, and I will be reading.

The Hot Air Quarterly will likely be taking a break from holding receptions for the next few issues, so if you’re interested in coming to one of our fêtes, this would be a good one to attend. Hope to see you there!

P.S. We are currently gathering material (short fiction, memoir, narrative nonfiction, and poetry) for our fall issue, so please contact us at keswickhouse@earthlink.net if you have anything you’d like to submit.

Above: An illustration from The Frog Prince, by artist Walter Crane. I can’t promise that any frogs will be in attendance, but you never know.
